Job Description

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a business services partener located in the Minnetonka area needing to add to their Accoutning team! If you have 2-3 + years fo full cycle acco8utning experience then apply today!

  • Pay: $65,000-$72,000/yr
  • Hybird/Remote (2 days/week remote)
  • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or applicable reporting standards

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Analyze financial data and present findings to management

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

  • Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and validate financial information

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial reporting

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (public or private sector)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
