Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or applicable reporting standards
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Analyze financial data and present findings to management
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Collaborate with other departments to gather and validate financial information
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in financial reporting
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (public or private sector)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
